At school we’re taught to learn the facts and then remember them...and that’s what clever people can do. You don’t take your notes into an exam to refer to them if you get nervous.
But when you go for an interview you can......actually it‘s more than that....you SHOULD!
Look, however confident you are there will still be some nerves...and nerves might mean that you forget important things. But not if they are written down.
As part of your interview prep write 3 questions down on a small piece of card, put them in your pocket/bag and forget all about them. For now.
When the interviewer asks if you have any questions, you simply take out the card and there they are! No....to trying to remember them. Yes.....to showing that you were really prepared. And as an added bonus you avoid saying the dreaded phrase, “No, I think you’ve covered everything thank you”.
