Dale had the privilege of delivering a session at Bosworth Independent School....and what a wonderful experience it was!
The unexpected highlight? The group was made up of students from 15 different nations:
๐ท๐บ Russia, ๐บ๐ฟ Uzbekistan, ๐ฐ๐ท South Korea, ๐น๐ผ Taiwan, ๐ฒ๐ด Macau, ๐ญ๐ฐ Hong Kong, ๐บ๐ฆ Ukraine, ๐ท๐ด Romania, ๐ป๐ณ Vietnam, ๐ง๐ท Brazil, ๐จ๐ด Colombia, ๐ฎ๐ณ India, ๐ต๐ธ Palestine, ๐ฐ๐ฟ Kazakhstanโฆ and of course, ๐ฌ๐ง Great Britain.
The session was on writing a CV and also looked at developing a personal brand.
During the mid-session break, Dale had the chance to chat with several students, got them to show him their home towns on Google Maps, and he learnt a bit more about where they were from. ๐
A particular shout-out to German (from Moscow) and Lutfullakhon (from Uzbekistan) โ two incredibly impressive young people who Dale reckons would be excellent youth ambassadors for their countries!
If the students took away even half as much from the session as Dale did, My Great First Job CIC will count it as a success. It was an absolute pleasure.
