😯 "Simply Speechless……….it honestly felt criminal that we were able to attend that for free!"
Incredible feedback from a student who attended our free event on Wednesday night!
Over 50 young people and parents joined us on Wednesday evening for our free ‘in-person’ evening presentation - ’10 Ways to Find a Great First Job’.
The young people who attended included current 6th Formers, college students and recent graduates - all keen to understand how to navigate the path from education to employment.
We’re all reading and hearing about the difficulties young people are facing when trying to find a job.
As a social enterprise, it’s nights like these that enable My Great First Job to get key practical information straight to the young people who really need it.
My Great First Job began in Northampton 8 years ago with us renting a community room and inviting local parents and young people to join us. Covid moved us online and this then helped us reach a national, and even international, audience.
But last Wednesday it was great to be back in the room with our local community….there was even a Mum in the audience who was also at our very first event back on October 22nd 2018!
