A Great First Visit to Uppingham School!

Dale had the pleasure of visiting Uppingham School in Rutland for the first time to talk all things Degree Apprenticeships.
He delivered two sessions - one for Year 12, and one for Year 13, and both groups were really engaged.
The Year 12s also heard from Exeter University about the more traditional route into a Russell Group university.
It was great that the students were able to see how these pathways can complement each other — especially since Exeter University offers Degree Apprenticeships in partnership with major organisations such as JP Morgan.
It really helped students see that university and apprenticeships aren’t necessarily “either/or” options anymore, but two ways to reach the same goal.
After each presentation, he had a whole bunch of 1-to-1 chats with students who wanted to dig deeper into how Degree Apprenticeships work, and what opportunities are out there.
A big thank you to Sam Dewhurst for inviting Dale in, and to Luciane Guntner from Stowe School for recommending him — My Great First Job really appreciate the support. 🙌
