It was all networking and connecting today at Salesian School Chertsey!
A LinkedIn assembly for around 250 year 12 students followed by a practical LinkedIn workshop for around 80.....such a fun session!
This was Dale's 3rd visit to Salesian School this academic year - the first 2 sessions had focused on supporting year 13 students who were applying for Degree Apprenticeships…today it was all about LinkedIn.
The assembly showed the students what they could do with LinkedIn….the workshop got them doing it!
Profiles were created - first posts planned and written - 📷 new profile pictures taken and a whole bunch of LinkedIn banners were created!
We put together a post for Franklin Buhat whose part time job in a local chip shop is giving him a whole bunch of skills he’ll use in his medical career - communication, team playing, working under pressure, responsibility, attention to detail - all skills that he’ll need as he explores a career in medicine 🏥.
After the presentation it was awesome for Dale to be described by one of the teachers as the 'Martin Lewis' of LinkedIn......so if you're looking for a quick-fire, pacy, informative LinkedIn presentation, that keeps 250 x 17 year olds engaged...get in touch!
