What a fantastic way to wrap up the week....a full day of workshops with the brilliant Year 12 students at Stantonbury School in Milton Keynes.

It was certainly a packed day!

We kicked things off by exploring 🎓 Degree Apprenticeships and the incredible opportunities they offer. From there, we moved onto LinkedIn, where students created their profiles and published their very first posts. 💻

After lunch, we focused on how to strengthen their personal brand for UCAS Personal Statements and Apprenticeship applications, before finishing the day by exploring how to find meaningful work experience opportunities ahead of their Work Experience Week in September.

Students shared career goals spanning ⚖️ law, 🏗️ architecture, 🩺 medicine, 📊 accountancy, 💼 business, 🎬 filmmaking, 🧠 psychology... and many more.

It was inspiring to hear so much enthusiasm for their futures.

One of the highlights of the day was seeing students already posting about the session on LinkedIn and sharing feedback such as:

💬 "I learned so much about making my profile stand out and using LinkedIn to connect with opportunities 🌐💡Feeling motivated to build my professional journey!"

💬 "What stood out to me the most was the time and effort Dale dedicated to every single one of us. Despite spending the entire day with our group, he still made the effort to speak to everyone individually, offering tailored advice, answering questions, and encouraging us to believe in our potential. His kindness, patience, and willingness to help made the experience even more meaningful."

This was Dale's third visit to Stantonbury School, and it's always a pleasure to work with such engaged and motivated students.

🙏 A huge thank you to Tino Zisengwe for organising the day alongside Sonia Kaur Head of Sixth Form.
