“The person who learns the most in any classroom is the teacher.”
James Clear, Atomic Habits
Yesterday, that quote rang so true.
My Great First Job had the privilege of supporting a group of dedicated Careers Leaders from schools across the Creative Education Trust.
We explored:
🔗 LinkedIn for Students and Educators
💡 Ideas for Engaging Parents in Careers Work
📣 Sharing Information with Students about Available Opportunities
What we learned was just how tirelessly these Careers Leaders are working.... often juggling full teaching timetables alongside developing careers programmes that truly make a difference.
They generously shared some brilliant examples of their work, including:
🔎 Sourcing meaningful work experience opportunities
👨👩👦 Actively involving parents in careers fairs
📢 Gathering real-time feedback from families at events
Dale left feeling hugely inspired by their creativity and commitment — and we hope he inspired them to share their work on LinkedIn and other platforms.
Their communities (and their students!) deserve to see just how much they’re doing to open doors and raise aspirations.
